Privacy

TheJump is designed to work without an account. Here is what we store, and where.

On your device (localStorage)

• A random device ID so we don't show you the same place twice.
• Your preferred game mode and country.
• Your saved places ("My Places") and XP.
• The display name you type on the results screen.

Clearing your browser data will erase these.

On our servers

• Your final scores (with the display name you chose) so we can show leaderboards.
• Anonymous gameplay events for pool rotation and rate-limiting.
• Reports on bad images so we can review and remove them.

Business accounts

Only city and business partners need an account. That account stores an email and organisation profile for reward management.
