What is TheJump?+
A quick urban discovery game. You land near a real landmark, street, park or hidden local spot, read the clues in the photo, and drop your pin on the map before the timer ends. Five jumps per game.
How does scoring work?+
Each round awards up to 100 points — most from how close your pin is to the true spot, plus a small bonus for pinning quickly. Perfect game: 500 points.
What is my Skill Rating?+
A 0–1000 score based on your last 20 ranked games. We drop your best and worst round to keep it stable.
Do I need an account?+
No. Just play. Type a display name on the results screen if you want to appear on the leaderboard. Your saved places live on this device.
What are My Places?+
On any round's result screen you can save the place to My Places (kept on this device) to build your own bucket list.
Where do the photos come from?+
Curated public imagery (including Wikimedia Commons and street-level providers), reviewed by admins before it enters the game pool.
