Is TheJump completely free?
Yes. TheJump is completely free to play — no subscription, purchase, account or hidden charge is required.
What is TheJump?
TheJump is a live multiplayer geography game. Study a place photo, drop your pin, and compete to land closest to the real location.
How many people can play?
One to 30 players can join a game. A host shares a six-digit code or QR code.
Do players need an account?
No. Players choose a Jump name and join with the room code.
How are points calculated?
Closer guesses earn more accuracy points, and quicker answers can earn a speed bonus. Accuracy is scaled for the game area: World is more forgiving across the globe, while Country games measure precision within the selected country. A round never exceeds 10,000 points.
Can the host customize the game?
Yes. The host chooses World or Country, difficulty, rounds and answer time. World uses 1,000 globally famous places; Country uses the selected country’s deeper local collection and a country-focused map. Country scoring is scaled to that country’s size, so accuracy stays fair.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. TheJump is designed for phones, tablets, and desktop browsers.
